I was very fortunate to receive a ton of baby clothes for my children and I am thankful to all my friends and family. I ended up having clothes for my daughter till she is five years old! But where do you put all those clothes? Here's my little system that works pretty well for me.
For clothes that are too big: I separated by size and placed in space bags and stored under the crib or in the garage.
For clothes that are too small: I have a mesh laundry bag in each of the kids' closets that I throw the clothes that are too small. Once this fills up, I'll separate by size and store in a space bag. Since I'm not sure if we're done having kids yet, this is my system, but once we decide we're done, I'll first donate to either friends or family who could use them and then send to consignment.
I also saved all of the hangers that come with baby clothes from gifts and the baby shower. And any time I found baby hangers at Goodwill, I would buy them at a fraction of the cost.
