The Beach Bag

Here is a list of things I have in our beach/river/pool/lake/splash pad bag that I keep in the car in summer, or have in the house all packed and ready to take on a trip:

• Towels
• Bathing suits
• Cover ups
• Sun block for adults and babies
• Chapstick
• Swim diapers
• Baby wipes
• Baby powder for sand removal.  This actually works!  But beware, inhalation is harmful to babies....click here to read more.  Somewhere I heard about corn starch, but I haven't tried it yet.
• Sarong.  Can be useful as a bathing suit cover up, nursing cover, shade, blanket, bag,  temporary first-aid sling....
• Grocery bags for garbage, wet bathing suits/towels, sandy treasures...
• Sand Resistant Beach Blanket
• Hand sanitizer
• Towel Clips
• Napkins for cleaning sunglasses
• Hats
• Bag for phone/iPad that's water/sand resistant 
• Beach Tent

• Folding chairs
• Beach toys
